API also owns holiday properties in great locations. These holiday facilities are available to members at usually around 20-30% below the normal market price, so our members love them.
An average family will save over $1,500 every year. Their purchasing decisions remain the same and they continue to shop at the same retailers. The only difference is how they pay for those purchases. Principally there are two ways to make the savings. The first way involves purchasing an eGift card at below face value. IE you might buy an eGift card for Woolworths, paying just $192 for an eGift card with a face value of $200. So, you have saved $8.00. Or you could buy an eGift card for Rebel Sport to pay for some new joggers that cost $235. You buy the $235 eGift card while in the store, using the app, but you only pay $211.50 saving a further 10%. You then present the eGift cards for payment just like cash.
The second way is through Cashback. In this case you make an online purchase at a partner retailer, who will put the saving into your API account. You can take the saving as cash or part pay another eGift card with it. For more details, see FAQ.
